Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Third Party Collection Agent. The primary responsibilities include contacting debtors to negotiate and establish repayment of delinquent accounts while maintaining professionalism and compliance with industry regulations. The role involves resolving outstanding balances and understanding individual debtor circumstances. Additional responsibilities include recording and updating detailed records of communications, collaborating with teams to meet recovery goals, and maintaining confidentiality of all client and debtor information.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage accounts receivable tasks and reconcile outstanding balances
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and attention to detail
• Knowledge of debt collection techniques and adherence to regulatory compliance standards
• Ability to work remotely and independently while meeting deadlines
• Customer service experience or background in collections is an asset
• Familiarity with relevant industry software and tools is advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in collections or financial services preferred
