About the Role
Our Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join their team. In this role, you will work on galvanizing surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes, and meeting client
specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting, surface
preparation, and the application of protective coatings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or blasting.
- Apply primer, paint, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes.
- Apply galvanizing treatments to protect surfaces from corrosion.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role.Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including galvanizing.Familiarity with various painting tools and equipment.Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work.Physical stamina and ability to work in industrial settings.Knowledge of workplace safety and hazard management.Preferred Qualifications
Certification in industrial painting or related field.Experience with galvanizing processes and coatings.Familiarity with workplace safety regulations, including WHMIS.What We Offer
