To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Service Shift Manager to join our fast-paced, energetic, dealership in Preeceville, SK. This role manages, coordinates, and directs the workload of the Service Department with a high focus on quality of work, effective communication, and Customer Satisfaction.
Responsibilities
This individual’s responsibilities include :
- Assign / schedule internal / customer / warranty jobs for service employees based on their skills / knowledge and provide feedback.
- Work with Service Business Manager on new hire orientation, provide mentorship for new technicians.
- Optimize shop efficiency and flow to avoid lost billable hours.
- Ensure effective communication and follow up on repair status and issues.
- Work with manager to identify / execute continuous process improvements, training opportunities and provide back up in their absence and during peak seasons.
- Direct / assist in diagnosis / troubleshooting of machine problems with technicians and apprentices.
- Perform final checks / approvals on equipment before start of work order.
- Provide excellent customer service consistently above standards; maintain customer relations and respond to inquiries / needs.
- Assist Service Advisor in providing quotes on repairs for internal / external customers, and accurate records of work orders.
- Build / maintain constructive co-worker relations and foster strong team communications / dynamics.
- Assist / conduct safety meetings, encourage safe working habits.
Requirements
