We are seeking Elementary French Teachers (Occasional) to join our occasional pool. Once hired to the occasional pool, our Elementary French Teachers (Occasional) can immediately apply to long-term occasional Core French and French Immersion assignments.

Position Summary : The Halton District School Board is currently seeking French teachers for our French Elementary and our Secondary Occasional Teacher rosters.

Occasional Teachers work in a variety of schools throughout the Halton Region. Occasional Teachers are eligible to accept short-term (partial day to 10 days in duration) or long-term assignments of up to one year.

Qualifications : Prior to commencing employment with the HDSB : Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers; FSL Part 1 (or equivalent);

Oral and written French proficiency; As we are an English board, oral and written English proficiency is required; Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within six months).
