Team : Cyber, Data, Risk and Resliency Architecture Governance
Location : Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x / week)
CDRR Architecture Governance team is responsible for provide architecture guidance, governance around all aspects of technology solutions and decisions, and creation and implementation of architecture strategies across the division.
Position Description :
We are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Architect or a Solutions Architect with broader organize wide architecture guidance-setting mindset, to lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide technology strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering innovation. This role goes beyond solution design, requiring a visionary thinker capable of influencing organizational strategy while also driving actionable execution. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic acumen with hands-on technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and the ability to inspire innovation across teams.
Skills Required :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of hands-on experience on Java / J2EE or Python, with the ability to dive into the technical weeds and build prototypes or POCs as needed.
- Deep understanding of enterprise systems, GenAI business cases, Coding Assistance, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven architecture).
- Strong background in data architecture, including integration, analytics, and governance frameworks.
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design Pattern concepts with practical experiencing of leveraging the same during development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidate should be able to design and then implement solutions.
- Experience in ideating and scaling innovation programs and fostering alignment between IT and business teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to influence and inspire across organizational boundaries.
- 4+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 3 years in enterprise architecture roles.
Skill Desired :
Certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.Experience with frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, or Lean Portfolio Management.Implementation level knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial IntelligenceStrong Database skills including relational and semi structured databases.DevOps experience covering CI / CD pipeline management, usage of containers for application deployment, observability tools./ /EEO Employer
