About Our Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Service Navigation, the Senior Business Analyst’s role is to lead planning, evaluation, and implementation activities to support our mandate of continuous service improvement. This position will also support the development, implementation and administration of the incident management process to restore IT services promptly. As a subject matter expert in business process re-engineering and continuous improvement, the analyst will provide advanced strategic and professional analytical services for departmental program / business units within government. The analyst also acts as a bridge between and across IT organization teams to ensure our services meet defined technology solutions and business needs. This requires taking a leadership role in defining solutions and assisting with the implementation of business process improvement initiatives to realize program and operational savings, improved client service and attainment of strategic goals.

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science plus a minimum of five (5) years’ experience or graduation from a recognized Information Technology program plus five (5) years and six (6) months experience, or an equivalent.

Additional Information
We have 2 opportunities. One is Permanent role and one is a TERM employment opportunity with anticipated end date of December 31, 2026. The appointment status (‘term’, ‘temporary’ or ‘casual’) is dependent on the start date of the successful candidate.
What We Offer
Pay Grade : PR 17 Salary Range : $3,;- $3,;Bi-Weekly Note : The salary rates shown reflect the new Civil Service Agreement, effective April 1, 2025. Implementation in our HR system will occur on February 5, 2026. Until then, the current rates will apply. Employees hired during this period will receive retroactive pay adjustments in accordance with the new agreement and applicable policies.
