Job Title: Production Supervisor – Manufacturing

Location: Edmonton

Employment Type: Full-time

Are you an experienced leader in manufacturing with a passion for driving performance, maintaining safety, and delivering quality results? We’re currently partnering with a well-established Canadian manufacturing company seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on the shop floor.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise daily production activities to meet operational goals in safety, quality, and output
• Manage a team of production workers, providing direction, coaching, and support
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and schedule shifts to ensure efficient workflow
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and resolve issues quickly
• Maintain accurate records of production output, staff performance, and any incidents
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
• Support material usage tracking and assist with inventory control
• Communicate regularly with management and other departments on progress, challenges, and successes

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop team members
• Solid understanding of production processes, machinery, and safety protocols
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, solve problems, and optimize workflow
• Comfortable using production tracking software and basic computer applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with quality control systems and occupational health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA/WSIB)
