Job Summary
The Team
The BC Parks Regional Operations Cariboo Section is a dedicated group of 10, including area supervisors, park rangers, and a section head, who work to manage and protect provincial parks and protected areas. As part of an established team, they collaborate with conservation specialists, Indigenous relations officers, and community liaisons to safeguard recreational spaces while honoring conservation and First Nation values. The Role
As the Recreation Service Officer, you'll oversee contracted service deliveries across the Cariboo Section, ensuring top-quality experiences for park visitors. Working in one of the largest park systems worldwide, you'll play a key role in making BC Parks accessible, enjoyable, and well-maintained. This is a unique chance to contribute to visitor satisfaction while preserving natural spaces.

About this Position :
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

Williams Lake has a rich history tied to the Cariboo gold rush , and is located in a valley in the interior plateau of central B.C..
