Field Service Technician- BAS (Eligible for sign on bonus)

Responsibilities

• Testing, calibrating, and verifying Honeywell systems and peripheral devices, with the testing to be performed according to all applicable standards and codes (. ULC536).
• Verifying the system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings / sequence of operations, etc.
• Performing system backups and installing appropriate updates and patches.
• Completing documentation of all work done, including all readings, offsets, etc.
• Updating customer drawings / documentation with any configuration or model changes.
• Ensuring all assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks are completed in the time allotted and the month scheduled.
• Responding to, and resolving Emergency Service Calls as required, in accordance with customer contract deliverables.
• Diagnosing and performing repairs in a time effective manner.
• Participate in the delivery of small service or installation jobs, including engineering, programming, documentation, installation management, start-up testing, and customer acceptance.
• Stay updated on product and preventive maintenance techniques and predictive maintenance.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations.
• Communicate customer requirements, system status, and potential issues to supervisors.
• Provide technical training and demonstrations to customers.
• Prepare job plans to ensure jobs are completed within budgeted costs and timelines.
• Provide quotes to customers for additional services or extras as requested.
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments according to Honeywell policy and regulatory requirements.
• Report near misses, incidents, and other opportunities for improvement.
• Manage Honeywell assets such as tools, proprietary software, and site databases.
• Attend and complete required training programs.
