Job descriptionSupportive team environment with hands-on training and mentorship No weekend work Great benefits after probation- benefit package, RRSP plan, paid sick time, monthly employee lunches, great family values Assemble wooden pallets according to specifications Operate a pneumatic nail gun safely and efficiently Measure, align, and secure wood components Inspect finished pallets for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work area Meet daily production goals Read blueprints to build wood products General warehouse duties Experience using hand tools is preferred Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted; lifting is a regular activity Must have steel-toed boots / shoes ( Green Seal CSA Approved ) Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Have a great team attitude and willingness to help Good communication skills Comfortable working in a loud environment Strong safety adherence, including wearing all provided PPE Comfortable standing and working on your feet for the entire shift Strong attention to safety and quality Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Manufacturing or construction experience is an asset
The Role
is located in SMITHVILLE
We are currently hiring Pallet Builders to join a fast-paced manufacturing company located in SMITHVILLE . This role involves building wooden pallets using a pneumatic nail gun , working with raw lumber, and meeting daily production targets. This role is ideal for someone looking for steady long-term work. This is a great temp-to-permanent role with a great company that cares about your work and you personally. This job is located in SMITHVILLE
Advantages
- $20 an hour to start, with 2 pay increases during the first year

- Straight shifts. 2 shifts to choose from.
- Straight day shifts 5 am to 1 : 30 pm OR straight afternoon shift Monday to Thursday from 1 : 30 pm to midnight
