Position Summary

Key Accountabilities
- Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash / cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
- Maintains logs and records; storing records for evidence purposes
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on conditions of surveillance facilities and equipment
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education And Qualification Requirements
High School Diploma or post‑secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience (an asset)Minimum 1 year of work experience; experience in security or surveillance (an asset)Computer proficiencyKeen eye for detail, with the ability to focus on monitors for long periods of timeAdherence to high standards, methods, and proceduresInquisitive, investigative mind, able to identify suspicious behaviors / transactions and make sound judgments based on thisAbility to multi‑task and prioritizeMust be able to work independently, without close direct supervision, and apply good judgment and discretion under pressureAbility to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick)Work Environment Considerations
