Responsibilities :
Leading complex projects for post‑secondary institutions, government agencies, and public infrastructure clients, ensuring compliance with public‑sector procurement frameworks, regulatory approvals, and campus planning requirements.Manage projects from concept through construction, maintaining design quality, technical accuracy, budgets, and schedules while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and overseeing construction administration.Build strong relationships with institutional clients, consultants, and stakeholders; delivers presentations and approvals to governance groups; and supports engagement with faculty, students, and community representatives.Provide design leadership aligned with sustainability, accessibility, and universal design standards, develop durable and efficient building system strategies, mentor staff, and guide high‑quality documentation for public‑sector procurement models.Support team development in the office and business development across institutional and post‑secondary markets.Qualifications :
Minimum of 10+ years of experience and be registered with AAA or similar.Bachelors or Master’s in architecture from an accredited college or university.Previous experience working on various project types, post-secondary is required.Experience in sustainable design / LEED AP & working with first nations communities is a strong asset.Demonstrated project leadership, mentorship and business development experience.The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package $110,000 - $130,000 (depending on experience) + bonus, extended benefits & health spending, 4 weeks’ vacation and continuing education allowance.
