Schedule

Shift is Monday to Friday 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 00 pm.

Training will start on the Day Shift.

Responsibilities

• Repair pumps, motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and monitor equipment function
• Interact with equipment operators to determine needs
• Perform preventative maintenance and plant inspections
• Fabricate metal components as needed
• Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble
• Diagnose standard mechanical equipment problems
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts
• Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
• Inspect used parts to determine dimensional changes using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Utilize welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair, and fabricate processing equipment
• Perform the preventative maintenance program established by the company
• Document and report all maintenance work performed and advise of future requirements in a timely manner
• Test and adjust equipment to meet performance specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Assist in shop operations in a responsive, efficient and safe manner
• Operate company equipment safely and responsibly
• Abide by OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) workplace health and safety standards
• Be willing and available to participate in on-call rotation
• Perform other duties as assigned
