Here's an exciting opportunity with a Montreal-based food manufacturing company.Your RoleReporting to the Plant Director, the Production Coordinator will support daily operations with both a strategic and hands-on approach. Key responsibilities include:* Monitor and analyze performance indicators (KPIs: efficiency, output, waste, labor).* Prepare, lead, and document daily production meetings and FMDS reviews.* Ensure smooth operations through clear processes and adequate resources.* Coordinate communication across departments: Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Planning, HSE, HR.* Identify, analyze, and resolve production issues using tools like 5 Why, Ishikawa, and Pareto.* Develop and track action plans to enhance performance and reduce costs.* Actively participate in production planning and adjust priorities as needed.* Support new product launches, providing feedback to R&D and QA.* Lead or contribute to continuous improvement and standardization projects (SOP, Kaizen, Gemba, FMDS).* Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability within the teams.Your Profile* Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field.* Minimum 5 years in a similar role, including 3 years in food production.* Strong knowledge of food production regulations and standards (HACCP, SQF).* Hands-on experience combined with strong analytical skills.* Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex information.* Autonomous, proactive, detail-oriented.* Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities.* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).* Motivated by challenges and new initiatives.Working Conditions* Salary: CAD 75,000 - 85,000 per year.* Permanent, full-time on-site position.
