Location : Various Sites (including Western Forest Products Mills) Wage :  $20.50 / hr - $21.75hr Shift Times :  Various shifts Reports to : Client Service Manager  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide superior customer service to clients and the general public.

Provide access control and security patrols as needed.

Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts.

Complete evacuation and emergency response procedures when necessary.

Using mobile phones and basic computer programs.

Communicate problems or concerns to the site supervisor.

Possess excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities.

Know occupational health and safety regulations – training provided.

Perform all duties with high safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Ability to remain alert while on duty.  Ability to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shift.

Possess or be willing to obtain a valid BC security worker's license.  Be comfortable using computers.

Fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skills.

Have a positive attitude with a professional demeanour.

Have excellent attention to complete incident report writing.

Have excellent problem-solving skills.  Comfortable handling emergencies in a calm manner – training & support will be provided.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations.
