Package Consultant - SAP Basis

Introduction

As a Package Consultant at IBM, you will tackle mission‑critical directives, design and re‑engineer complex application components, and integrate software packages using a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of SAP S / 4HANA migration, including system upgrades, data migrations, and technical landscape optimization.
• Implement strategies for optimizing the performance and scalability of SAP systems, including monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Establish and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP landscapes to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Implement and manage SAP security policies and authorizations, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of critical business data.
• Work closely with project teams, functional analysts, and data leads to ensure seamless integration of SAP Basis activities with overall project goals.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and procedures.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to ensure the skill development of team members.
• Lead incident and problem resolution efforts, collaborating with support teams to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
