Your Opportunity
BDO Canada's St. John’s office is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:
- Participate in audits and review engagements for clients across diverse industries
- Prepare working papers and financial statements in accordance with professional and regulatory standards
- Establish and cultivate positive working relationships with clients, and be responsive to their requests and suggestions
- Contribute to business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients
- Contribute to talent development and culture initiatives aimed at elevating the overall team
- Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues

Your experience and education
- You are working towards your CPA designation.
- You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in external audit within a public accounting firm or 2-3 years in any financial reporting position.
- You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.
- You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
