Job Description

We Are Hiring for a Full-Time Operations Manager at our Kingsville Distribution Centre!

Starting at $120k, negotiable based on experience
Competitive compensation package
Full time + occasional overtime
Monday-Saturday, travel required

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Implement policies, procedures, and organizational structures to enhance workflows.

Manage staffing plans, recruitment, and training to maintain a skilled workforce.

Track expenses, develop budgets, and manage operations within financial guidelines.

Monitor packaging inventory and minimize waste to reduce operational costs.

Oversee building maintenance and ensure timely repairs and preventative schedules.

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations to the operations team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

7+ years of management experience, preferably in the produce industry.

Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety programs, and HR principles.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge of produce handling, storage, and packaging regulations is an asset.
