Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze high-risk and very-high risk clients by conducting relevant research and documenting the work performed in the SAS-CDD system.
  • Conduct or participate in the necessary transaction analyses as part of the enhanced screening process or when the situation requires.
  • Participate actively in various team activities.
  • Follow up on various activities and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Draft various reports for the CAML / ATF support office.
  • Participate in the drafting of team procedures and create new work tools and templates.
  • Contribute to AML / ATF reporting : understand, analyze and compile the necessary data.
  • Provide the Personal Banking sectors the necessary support on AML / ATF.
  • Ensure proper day-to-day management of the AML / ATF Risk Management team's e-mail inbox.
  • Ensure the completion of various administrative activities related to the team.
  • Perform any tasks of a similar or general nature requested by his / her superior or required as part of his / her duties.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field and 1 to 2 years' relevant experience (anti-money laundering, fraud, compliance, banking)
  • College diploma and 3 years relevant experience (anti-money laundering, fraud, compliance, banking)
  • Specific skills

    Excellent analytical skills

    Knowledge of AML / ATF regulations

    Strong French-English

  • communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of banking operations and products

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
