To be successful as our new Assistant Director of Nursing Care, you will :
Hold a current registration as a Registered Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of OntarioHold current Heart Save Level of CPRAct as a Specialist Leader pertaining to all aspects of infection prevention and controlSupport the delivery of IPAC education to all team members, caregivers, volunteers, students, visitors, and residentsUnderstand the IPAC protocol and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the regulations specific to infection controlDisplay a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team membersUnderstand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Assistant Director of Nursing Care roleHave three (3) years of experience leading and directing department(s) in a healthcare settingExperience working with people living with Dementia and understand how to support individuals expressing Personal ExpressionsIt would be an asset if our new Assistant Director of Nursing Care has :
Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations applicable to the long-term care sector, including the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 and Health & SafetyJ-18808-Ljbffr
