Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Reporting Analyst to join our client's team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring accurate data reporting, alignment with business processes, and the seamless implementation of data-driven solutions. This position requires onsite presence for three days per week in either Winnipeg or Steinbach, MB.

Responsibilities :

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, including data location, integrity analysis, and workflow impact assessments.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to manage departmental requests effectively.
  • Review and validate reports and software solutions to ensure usability, accuracy, and data integrity, resolving any identified issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to interpret and implement functional requirements for new developments, application enhancements, and process automation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to clearly communicate requirements and translate them into actionable technical tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity standards while identifying patterns and inconsistencies across database systems.

Technical Skills :

  • Proficient in SQL with a strong understanding of database relationships and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and reporting tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Knowledge of networking, servers, and software components used in data-driven applications, including Database Systems, Web Middleware, and Business Software (e.g., DNA).
  • Familiarity with technical concepts related to building and maintaining data-driven applications.
