Our Client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to deliver on a large-scale migration project for SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. Reporting to senior leaders, this role will need to understand the complexities of SharePoint and what can be involved when integrating them into the M365 suite. They are looking for an individual who can understand the stakeholder’s interests, resolve conflicts while maintaining project momentum. An in-depth understanding of Enterprise Content Management systems is essential for success.

Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings when required. Frequency of meeting could be up to 3-4 times per month. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and security issues. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

Skills SharePoint, Migrations, ECM, MS Project, Type Contract Experience Required / Mandatory Skills

Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (6+ years)

Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures. (8+ years)

Experience managing multiple projects concurrently. (8+ years)

Experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization) in a large and complex environment. (6+ years)

Nice To Have Skills

Experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios. (5+ years)

Experience creating and managing project forecasts in Microsoft Project. (4+ years)

Experience developing and maintaining positive relationships across the organization, from front line staff to executives. (5+ years)

Experience in project coordination of information management / information technology initiatives (2+ years)

Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels. (8+ years)

Experience leading change management and communication planning. (5+ years)

Experience leading custom software application development projects following a formal project life cycle methodology. (6+ years)

Experience working on Enterprise Content Management systems. (3+ years)
