Pay: $21.00 per hour
Shifts: Days, Afternoons, Nights (based on production needs)
About the Role
We are currently hiring a Sanitation Technician to support a dairy manufacturing facility in Mississauga. This role plays a critical part in food safety and production readiness by ensuring all processing areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with GMP, HACCP, and CFIA requirements.
This position includes hands-on sanitation work and may involve CIP/COP procedures and confined-space cleaning following proper training and authorization.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dairy processing equipment, including production lines, tanks, silos, piping, pasteurizers, pumps, valves, and fillers
- Execute CIP (Clean-in-Place) and COP (Clean-out-of-Place) procedures according to SSOPs
- Perform environmental sanitation of floors, drains, walls, ceilings, coolers, and storage areas
- Prepare and handle sanitation chemicals safely and verify proper concentrations
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning as required
- Perform sanitation tasks in confined spaces (tanks, silos, vats) when trained and authorized
- Complete sanitation logs, checklists, and required documentation accurately
- Support pre-operational inspections and food safety programs
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including PPE, WHMIS, LOTO, and confined-space protocols
Qualifications
- Previous sanitation experience in food or dairy manufacturing preferred
- Experience with CIP/COP systems is an asset
- Confined-space experience is an asset (training may be provided)
- Comfortable working with sanitation chemicals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
- Basic English reading and writing skills
- Ability to work in wet, humid, and variable-temperature environments
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 kg and work on ladders or elevated platforms

This position is offered through 3PL Inc., a licensed Temporary Help Agency. Successful candidates will be employed by 3PL Inc. and assigned to client worksites.
