Join our compassionate and collaborative team as a Registration-Switchboard Clerk at the Squamish General Hospital . In this essential frontline role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors—setting the tone for their health care experience and ensuring smooth administrative and communication processes.

What You Will Do

As a Registration Clerk you will perform a variety of registration and switchboard functions such as registering patients for emergency services and diagnostic procedures in the computerized admission / discharge / transfer system. Process admissions, transfers and discharges. Operate the computerized telephone exchange, locate personnel through the use of pagers, answering services and the public address systems, and responds to emergencies. Perform reception, records management and other related clerical functions as required.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Grade 12 and two years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
