Drivers are responsible for the safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles on auction property; driving vehicles to and from auction lots and customer businesses; and driving vehicles through auction sale lanes on designated sale days in compliance with auction safety rules and regulations.

Schedule : Your schedule will vary between the days and hours of Monday–Friday, 8 : 30am – 5 : 00pm. This is a part-time, on-call role, up to 30 hours per week.

What You Will Do :

Drive vehicles in accordance with auction safety protocolsDrive vehicles to / from designated areas on Auction premises and to / from customer dealerships and businesses, while observing Auction driving rules, following the rules of the road, and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principlesCheck all vehicle fluids before delivering to an offsite locationLine up and park vehicles as directed by a supervisor or team leader, move vehicles as necessary, and jump-start and locate “lost” vehiclesAssist with getting vehicles operating as needed. If necessary, inflate tires, fill fuel tanks, and jump-start vehicles. Notify a supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative.Assist customers (i.e., dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and coworkers as neededMaintain lot (pick up trash, etc.)Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities.Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Need :

Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and clean driving recordPrior experience in an automotive auction or dealership an assetAbility to drive vehicles with manual transmissions preferredLanguages required : EnglishAbility to constantly enter and exit vehiclesAbility to sit for prolonged periods of time, and stand, walk, and reachOccasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climbAbility to lift 15 poundsAbility to operate iPhone

At E INC, in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our base pay as it is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this full-time position is $16.50 - $18.50, and this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
