POSITION SUMMARY
Journeyperson Pipefitters possess the full range of knowledge required to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for oil, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. - Turnaround for CNRL in April / May
- Pre-work : 2 10 / 4 shifts in April
- Outage : 2 weeks in May
- Post-work : 1-2 weeks
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Read and interpret red-line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&ID’s, etc.)Able to follow Field Installation Work Packages (FIWP)Assist journeyperson pipefitters with turn around activities.Working under LOTOInstall blinds and remove accessories for outage activities.Clean welds inside equipmentWorking in confined space environmentsRemove and Re-Install various valves including PSV, Gate, Globe, and Control Valves.Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems.QUALIFICATIONS Education
Must possess a valid Journeyperson certificate from the appropriate provincial or federal authority.Training
Mut possess valid H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Aerial Work Platform, Fall Arrest, and CSTS 2020 or equivalent tickets.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.Able to lift 50 pounds.Comfortable working outdoorsComfortable working in confined space environments
