Position : Product Specialist - Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical ProductsLocation : Mississauga (On-Site) Job Type : Permanent We are looking to hire a Product Specialist for a great mechanical / electro-mechanical industry manufacturing client located in Mississauga. The Product Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and is responsible for setting the strategic direction for assigned product lines. This includes leading product planning, developing market strategies, and overseeing execution throughout the product lifecycle. Key responsibilities involve gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Engineering, Sales, IT, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, market trends, and customer insights to drive product strategy, performance, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities : - Define the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.- Conduct market research, analyze data, and communicate findings to appropriate departments and personnel.- Gather product and customer requirements, identifying unmet needs and areas for improvement.- Define product requirements and specifications. - Determine how new products will be justified (ROI), developed, priced, presented, and promoted.- Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.- Monitor product offering performance, customer feedback, and market trends to recommend changes and address underperforming offerings.- Identify areas for cost reductions while maintaining overall product quality.- Develop product communications and messaging, perform product presentations to sales representatives and customers, and manage the rollout of communiqués.- Be an expert on competitive offerings, features, and benefits to ensure our products lead in the market.- Oversee project management aspects, including scope and schedule.- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the business from time to time.- Any other duties as assignedQualifications :  - Bachelor's degree in Science or relevant field - 3 to 5 years of proven experience in product management, preferably in the mechanical / electro-mechanical and / or garage door related industry - Demonstrated success in defining and launching new or enhanced product offerings.- Strong understanding of strategic product marketing to B2B customers - Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, organization, and planning skills.- Exposure to working with Sales, Marketing, Engineering and / or IT teams - Exposure market research and gathering VOC and insights from industry, suppliers / vendors, and customers. - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes- Project management exposure is preferred - In tune with market dynamics- Ability to travel to other locations in Canada and / or US - up to 15% To apply, please send your resume to Vanessa Tran at vanessa.tran@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
