Position Summary :
The Pharmacy Assistant, L2 (Data Entry) will provide technical assistance in processing prescriptions, customer service, data entry, third party adjudication and packaging of medications.
This position will primarily work Monday to Friday with required occasional weekend work based on business need.
Your Day to Day :
- Input medication and patient information into Kroll software
- Data enter medication changes, new patient information and hospital discharges
- Complete third party adjudications necessary to bill prescriptions
- File medication orders / prescriptions appropriately
- Send Kroll data to PacMed machine
- Manage data within an electronic MAR system
- Main phone contact for program partners
- Print and distribute reports from Kroll, PacMed and eMAR software as required for delivery or partner program requirements
- Prepare medication and associated paperwork for delivery to patients and / or program partners
- Complete daily tasks by shift end
- Participates in company quality assurance and quality improvement activities to ensure company and program partner standards are consistently met
- Maintains confidentiality and protects personal and organization information at all times
- Adheres to organizational and department specific safety standards and guidelinesSets high standards of performance for self and others
- Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members
- Other duties will be assigned as required
What You Will Bring To The Team :
