Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
Technical Document Writer — Requirements (Stellarus)
- Create clear, accurate documentation for Stellarus products in two variants : internal (for engineers / operations) and external (customer facing).
- Write and maintain user / admin guides, implementation runbooks, API / SDK references, and release / change notes.
- Translate inputs from Product, Engineering, and Operations into structured, task focused content that supports client implementations.
- Explain APIs and integrations at a practical level (authentication, endpoints, examples, error handling) and provide executable samples where appropriate.
- Apply company style and plain language standards; ensure accessibility, correct terminology, and consistent voice across documents.
- Manage versioning and changelogs, align docs to product releases, and maintain a simple content inventory (owner, last review, next review).
- Work with modern tooling—Markdown, Git, Confluence or GitBook, and work management tools (Linear or Jira)—and follow docs as code practices.
- Collaborate to run SME reviews (PM, Eng, Ops, Support, Compliance) and capture approvals; track and address feedback quickly.
- Uphold quality : tested procedures, accurate screenshots / redactions, link checks, and clear troubleshooting / rollback steps.
Nice to have : Healthcare / PHI awareness (HIPAA), basic API literacy, and ability to create simple system diagrams.
