Senior Delivery Lead

In this role, you will :

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Work with peers and customers to support mortgage systems and ensure deliverables are according to Scotiabank's internal policies, standards and templates based on business, project and systems specs.
• Primary point of escalation for on call staff.
• Participate in project planning, estimate and review processes.
• Ability to showcase progress in projects / initiatives / programs, holding people accountable to their commitments and making sure we are on track for successful delivery
• Assisting senior management to enforce standards and methodology; ensuring solutions are in line with the technology standard / roadmap and mentoring the technical team members.
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
• Work on multiple complex projects / initiatives as a delivery leader.
• Present and leverage technical information and solutions in a way that establishes trust relationships, persuades stakeholders and achieves understanding and consensus at all levels.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his / her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML / ATF / sanctions and conduct risk.
