The Restaurant Area Manager duties include, but are not limited too :
- Managing the operation of approximately 10 restaurants
- Managing the staff to help maintain and achieve restaurant targets and standards
- Coaching the staff to provide excellent customer service representative of the A&W brand
- Identifying areas of improvement and opportunity specific to individual restaurants under your control
- Managing budgetary inquires and understanding the budgeting process
- Monitoring and controlling labor costs and food and waste costs
- Leading the staff to achieve service times and working as a part of the team
- Spending reasonable amount of time every shift on the floor supporting and working with employees
- Ensuring all food safety regulations are followed
- Hiring, retaining, and terminating employees as well as training managers
- Other duties which involve the day to day operation of a fast food restaurant
Multi-unit restaurant management experience - two years or more
- Quick service restaurant experience preferred
- Drivers license
- Food handling certificate
