Project Cost Controller

Location: Northern Ontario

Type of Employment: Contract

Role & Responsibilities:

• The incumbent facilitates the Set-Up and coordination of budget, cost & schedule control within responsibilities
• Project Controls work according to Workflows within the Project
• Prepare and maintain the Projects Cash Flow
• Prepare and maintain the Projects PO List including all Information necessary for outside queries
• Set Up and maintain the Projects cost structure in SAP
• Ensure proper booking of all POs and Invoices; prevent bypassing of the approved budget by any party
• Maintain the Projects Budget database & SAP Interface Sheets, all POs and Inv. on central controlling server
• Maintain the Projects Schedule
• Monthly, Weekly and Stakeholder reports as required

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Undergraduate or Graduate Degree/Diploma in relevant field
• Min 2-3 years of relevant project controls work experience preferably within the Mining Industry or, in an EPCM environment
• Working knowledge of project controls, cost control, procurement/contracts, document control and project reporting
• Work experience with SAP
• Ability to work at an advanced level with all Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent English language skill verbal and written
• Demonstrated high level of coordination skills to gather cost data from project leaders, engineering, procurement, and other stakeholders.
