Server 1-MOH

You will be responsible to perform all tasks related to food and beverage service in an efficient and professional manner.

This includes service in the buffet, where you must serve patrons efficiently and accurately while maintaining the cleanliness of your section.

You must adhere to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and other applicable municipal, provincial, and federal laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service
• Helps create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day
• Take beverage orders from guests and ensure their order is brought out correctly and in a timely manner
• Assists with cleaning tables or counters; removes dishes and re-stocks when required
• Performs opening or closing duties as required

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications :

• A High School diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education.
• Experience in related field of one (1) or more years. The ability to work and excel in a fast-paced large volume business.
• People-focused and committed to service excellence
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
• Previous restaurant experience in a casino environment would be considered an asset.
• The ability to work evenings, weekends and shift work.
• The ability to obtain a Smart Serve Certification
