Job description

Fintros is looking to onboard a Jr. FinancialAnalyst in early Q1 2018. Interviews will be conducted the secondweek of January.

What you willdo

  • Developing reportsusing Hyperion to assist in the analysis of financial results asrequested
  • Prepare analyze and record variousmonthly journal entries
  • Deliver standardreports to group leaders and others as requested including monthlyKPIs.
  • Responsible for the oversight of WIP andAR balances through regular review and interpretation ofstandardized exception reports and reporting findings to the GTATax Controller.
  • Prepare various expenseanalysis and report on variances against plan forecast and lastyear
  • Participate in the preparation andanalysis of forecasts utilization and attrition data andbudgets.

What you bringto therole

  • PostSecondaryeducation in accounting is an asset
  • Goodunderstanding of accounting principles andconcepts
  • Strong analytical skills includingbeing able to identify key drivers ofvariances
  • Advanced Excel skills includingworking knowledge of pivottables andgraphs
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint andMS Word
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion HANA andSAP is an asset
