About the Role
As our HR Support Specialist youll play a key role in supporting both HR and safety operations. From recruiting and onboarding to payroll and safety program support youll help ensure our workplace runs smoothly safely and with heart.
What Youll Be Doing
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Collaborate with department managers to craft and post job openings
- Screen resumes and coordinate interviews
- Conduct reference checks and deliver engaging orientations
- Ensure all new hire documentation and training is complete
Payroll Support
Enter and edit time data for payroll processingResolve discrepancies through communication with staff and supervisorsSafety Program Support
Help develop and maintain our Safety & Health ProgramMonitor on-site safety performance and identify areas for improvementAssist in investigations of incidents and near missesCollect and manage safety reports and documentationHR Systems & Administration
Support our HR Information System and Landscape Management SoftwareHelp deliver disciplinary notices and suggest HR improvementsMaintain and update policies and proceduresOrganize staff events and team-building activitiesAssist with safety audits and other HR / safety duties as neededWhat Were Looking For
Certificate or diploma in Human Resources or Management (asset)Experience delivering presentations or orientationsStrong organizational and time management skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyExceptional attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to manage a diverse workloadValid Class 5 Drivers LicenseWhy Join Us
