Job description

Our Client is looking for a Senior Integration Analyst to work with their IS (Information Systems) team. The Senior Integration Analyst is responsible for helping the integration Leadership team drive overall post-merger integration Management and Governance.

Key Requirements :

  • 7+ years of experience with large technology programs and integration programs for business mergers.
  • 5+ years of experience with program, and project management.
  • Experience running post-merger integrations is a must.

Start Date : Sept 16, 2024

End Date : May 30, 2025

Work Model : Calgary / Onsite

Reports to : Sr. Director IS PMO

The Role description :

The Technology Integration Management Office (TIMO) Sr. Integration Analyst is responsible for helping TIMO Leadership team drive overall post-merger integration Management and Governance. They will work alongside the TIMO leadership and TIMO Master Program Lead (MPL) to drive the overall integration plan, management of the overall program and help identify key risks and issues and propose strategies to address these integration risks and issues.

This position will report to the Senior Director IS PMO and is responsible for helping identify cross-program dependencies, common integration barriers, assess schedule change impacts, drive integrated program reviews to ensure that integration program remains on track.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Support TIMO leadership with active management of RAID items across all integration programs in terms of tracking the progress of high-risk items.
  • Responsible to drive cross-program dependencies tracking and completion of dependencies.
  • Required to support Cross-Program Alignment by helping MPL execute : Concurrent Program Alignment Discussions : Drive periodic program review discussions with each of the programs to review their RAID items, understand the concerns and help coordinate resolution of these risks / issues with appropriate stakeholders. Support TIMO action items such as : Mock Cutover Reviews Testing Planning and Progress tracking
  • Support escalation follow-ups and follow-throughs on : Dependency to Delivery Task Alignment Environment Management tracking
  • Support financial reviews of projects and programs and validation of health against authority and actuals.
  • Engage TIMO coordinators to create key updates and reports for CIO, IS Leadership and TIMO Leadership
  • The Requirements (skills contractor should have) :

  • 7+ years of experience with large technology programs and integration programs for business mergers.
  • 5+ years of experience with program, and project management.
  • Experience running post-merger integrations is a must.
  • Experience in key technology domains including data, integrations, application SDLC, Agile frameworks is considered an asset.
  • Experienced with program and program management practices and tools including Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Project Online
  • University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Understanding of the railroad business is a bonus.
