We are currently seeking an experienced Security Business Systems Analyst to support a high-profile engagement with one of Canada’s leading financial institutions. In this role, you will work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Cyber Access Control to lead and support business analysis activities across multiple departments. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 5 years focused on security-related initiatives involving technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Identity Governance. You’ll be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, conducting process analysis, facilitating workshops, and supporting solution evaluation, testing, and deployment. A strong grasp of Identity and Access Management (IAM), experience migrating enterprise Access Management solutions, and the ability to produce detailed technical documentation are essential.

- Candidates must be eligible for Secret level security clearance (5+ years in Canada)
- Hybrid (candidates must work on-site in Ottawa 2 days a week or 8 days a month)

Responsibilities
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services :
Support the project team and stakeholders across multiple departments to gather business requirements and produce key business artifacts using best practicesParticipate in information gathering and consultation with stakeholders to define business requirements as they relate to the deployment of various project phasesPerform business process analysis, define and document current state and future state business and system processesAssist and conduct business analysis activities through active engagement with stakeholdersFacilitate workshops and presentations with technical and non-technical resources and document functional and non-functional solution requirementsPrepare detailed specifications documents that will be used to evaluate, select, and test solutionsDevelop user acceptance test plans and / or participate in functional testing, acceptance testing and assist with end- user trainingSupport and work with employees during evaluations and deployments of solutionsDevelop and deliver communications to the clients and stakeholdersDevelop end-user documentation, guidelines, visuals, and training materialsOther activities and deliverables, as requiredQualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills :
University degree or college diploma in computer science, engineering, or business administrationA minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in business analysis, managing broad internal and external stakeholder relationshipsA minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst working on the large-scale projects involving technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, Identity Governance, Entitlement Management, and Cloud-Based access controls (Conditional Access Policies, MFA, SAML, Oath)Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and principlesDemonstrated experience in implementing and migrating from one enterprise Access Management solution to anotherDemonstrated knowledge of system development methodology, including a commitment to the success of the testing phases and processesDemonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and validating complex business and technical requirements across departments and translating them into user storiesDemonstrated ability to quickly grasp and analyze complex issues, diagnose multi-dimensional problems and devise insightful / appropriate responses or strategies to address themDemonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of an organization, using clear and compelling written products and oral presentations / briefingsThe following will also be considered :
Demonstrated knowledge of Zero-Trust principles and implementationDemonstrated knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ, including lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), certification campaigns, and policy enforcementDemonstrated experience using automation to assist with replacing manual repeated tasks or handling large amounts of dataProficiency in business intelligence and data analyticsSummary
