Cleaner

We are currently looking for a cleaner for a cadet camp in the city of Vernon. This will be full-time position and a great summer opportunity for a student. The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the buildings common areas ensuring a welcoming environment for cadets.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of residential and commercial properties
• Replenish supplies such as soaps paper towels and toilet paper
• Cleaning tasks such as dusting mopping sweeping waxing floors and vacuuming
• Cleaning spills broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible
• Coordinating duties with other cleaners
• Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary
• Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Cleaning experience is an asset
• Reliable and a good communicator
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Must be proactive and be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Starting date: March

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hours shift
• Working hours: 7am - 3 pm
• 5 days per week
  

Experience:

• Cleaning: 2 years (preferred)
