Bilingual Medical Office Administrator Remote
We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Office Administrator for our client in the insurance industry. This role provides essential administrative support to the National Group Disability organization and works closely with various stakeholders, including Case Managers, Medical Consultants, Lawyers, Plan Sponsors, and Plan Members.
The position offers the flexibility of working from home, with candidates required to be based in Ontario or Quebec.

Responsibilities :
- Process Access Requests, ensuring accurate identification of required information and authority before dissemination.
- Review documents meticulously to redact third-party information, preventing privacy breaches.
- Refer privacy breach incidents to the leader for resolution and reporting.
- Manage multiple group email inboxes.
- Set up disability claims and manage claim follow-ups.
- Handle client and control reports.
- Issue payments for vendor invoices.
- Enter data from claim forms into the claims payment system (Navigator).
- Send correspondence to claimants, clients, and stakeholders via email or physical mail, ensuring privacy protocols are followed.
- Track, search, and retrieve offsite files.
- Handle media files.
- Assist with new client onboarding and file transfers.
- Coordinate IT equipment and access for new hires, including support for existing employees.
What you will need to succeed :
- Post-secondary education (college or university level) is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) to communicate with both English-speaking and French-speaking clients.
- Strong PC skills, including experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Data entry experience (Navigator claims system).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data entry tasks.
- Ability to adapt to high workloads and conflicting deadlines.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is an asset.
- Prior insurance industry experience is a plus.
- Tact and diplomacy, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fast learner with strong analytical, organizational, and planning abilities.
