Job Responsibilities
Provide superior customer service to clients and general publicProvide access control and security foot patrols as neededProactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflictsComplete evacuation and emergency response proceduresCommunicate problems or concerns to the site supervisorPossess excellent multi-tasking, problem solving, prioritizing and organizational abilitiesHave knowledge of occupational health and safety regulationsPerform all duties with high safety standardsQualifications and Experience
BC Security Worker licenseMust be legally entitled to work in CanadaMust be able to obtain a Reliability Clearance and be minimum 19 years of ageMust be physically fit and able to stand for long periods at a timeMust be able to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shiftMust be willing to complete Commissionaires Security Guard Online Course (CSOC)Must be fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skillsMust have a positive attitude with a professional demeanour, and strong interpersonal skillsHave excellent attention to detail to fulfill duties and responsibilities and incident report writingHave excellent problem solving skills with an ability to handle emergency situations in a calm mannerHave the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situationsHave a demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public#J-18808-Ljbffr
