A multi-branch and safety accredited construction and service organization specializing in refrigeration and HVAC applications is immediately hiring an experienced hands on A Licensed Lead Technical Advisor & Regional Supervisor to manage and mentor their team of field Refrigeration Service Technicians and service refrigeration racks and equipment in the Halifax, NS and surrounding area.

As a hands-on Lead Technical Advisor & Regional Supervisor, your time will be spent between overseeing, training, mentoring, and coaching a team of Field HVAC / R Technicians, conducting site visits for quality control, overseeing refrigeration and commercial projects, and installing and servicing refrigeration racks, coolers, freezers display units, chillers, RTUs etc.
LEAD HVAC / R TECHNCIAL ADVISOR & REGIONAL SUPEVISOR JOB REQUIREMENTS
A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic LicenseAt least eight years refrigeration install / service experience (i.e. Coolers, Freezers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Racks, Display Units, etc.) in laboratory, retail, commercial, medical, and / or self-contained temperature-controlled environmentsAt least two years lead hand / supervisory experience within the industryAble to read and interpret blueprints, piping schematics, and can size equipmentThe successfully hired HVAC / R Field Supervisor must complete a pre-employment background check (Criminal, Driving, Security Clearance).
SHIFT : Days, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm (Monday - Friday). Time and a half for any work performed outside business hours. Oncall : 1 week / 7-8 weeks.
