Ficodis Inc. is currently seeking a Director of Production to oversee and coordinate all production and service activities within the Technical Services Division, covering existing companies located in Quebec and Ontario, as well as those that will be acquired in the future in these provinces. This strategic role involves developing and implementing optimized processes and practices aligned with the company’s overall objectives to ensure resource availability, operational efficiency, and adherence to delivery timelines. In collaboration with senior management, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan, working closely with other Ficodis group companies and partners to deliver projects for clients across the network. The ideal candidate will foster a culture focused on performance, collaboration, and respect, while engaging teams to achieve high standards in quality, health, and workplace safety.
Roles and Responsabilities
- Develop and optimize production and service processes to support growth and improve efficiency.
- Implement the business plan, including defining key performance indicators.
- Oversee annual budgeting and cost management for activities under your responsibility.
- Maintain a culture focused on operational efficiency and quality.
- Inspire and mobilize teams through collaborative leadership.
- Ensure regular on-site presence to anticipate market trends and guarantee operational quality.
- Promote workplace health and safety and continuous team training.
- Manage financial resources rigorously and implement appropriate controls and processes.
- Identify priorities, assess risks, and develop corrective plans.
Profile
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing multi-site operations (repair and manufacturing workshops), including team leadership.Proven ability to translate corporate vision into operational plans.Demonstrated leadership in geographically diverse organizations.Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.Expertise in continuous improvement, cost reduction, and profitability optimization.Experience leading organizational and cultural change initiatives.Bilingualism required : French and English, with intermediate oral and written proficiency sufficient for clear communication.Please note that this position involves regular travel, up to 50% of the time, to be on-site at the various company locations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
