We are looking for an Ad Products Manager to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for advertising products and features across our channels, guided by customer insights and business priorities. This role involves designing engaging ad placements and measurement tools, coordinating with channel owners for implementation, and integrating best practices in retail media. You'll also evaluate and manage relationships with ad tech vendors, ensuring optimal performance and timely procurement.

This position will be based in our office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer a competitive base salary plus commission, along with a comprehensive benefits package. We will also provide relocation assistance for qualified candidates interested in making Nova Scotia their new home.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing :

  • Develop ad products roadmap (., products and features to be built across owned channels), informed by the features customers are most excited about and prioritized based on business impact
  • Design and build compelling advertising placements, formats, and measurement capabilities for advertisers
  • Coordinate with channel owners to roll out ad serving and expand ad placements across site, apps, and email
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in retail media network advertising and promotion (., high-impact formats, high-performance placements, variable buying and selling methodologies)
  • Evaluate ad serving vendors (., outreach to vendors, scorecard for evaluation, design proof-of-concepts to test)
  • Select new vendors and ensure timely contracting and procurement of vendors
  • Manage relationships with ad tech vendors (., negotiate contracts, provide feedback) and monitor vendor performance by tracking KPIs (., load time) to ensure they are in line with MSAs

What you have to offer :

  • Mandatory : 5+ years work experience in an advertising product management role at a media, tech, or commerce company
  • Strong experience with digital advertising, including multiple formats (video, search, banner), placements, buy / sell-types (auction-based, direct) and measurement techniques
  • Experience in an ad tech procurement, vendor management, contract administration, or supplier relationship management
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem
  • Knowledge of product management workflow and tools
  • Knowledge of ad tech vendor ecosystem
  • Procurement experience (., vendor selection, RFP processes)
