Job description

Responsibilities :

  • PMO Implementation :  Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive PMO framework from scratch, including methodologies, governance structures, and best practices.
  • Project Oversight :  Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management :  Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align PMO objectives with business goals, provide regular updates, and address any issues or risks.
  • Process Improvement :  Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resource Management :  Develop and manage a project portfolio, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources, including personnel, budget, and technology.
  • Reporting and Analytics :  Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to track project performance, KPIs, and overall PMO effectiveness, providing insights and leading continual improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in technical project management, with at least 2 years in a PMO leadership role.
  • Proven experience implementing a PMO from the ground up.
  • PMP, Agile Scrum, PRINCE2, or similar certifications.
  • Experience managing COTS software implementations, ideally in the consumer goods industry.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Strategic Thinking :  Ability to align project management practices with business strategy and objectives.
  • Leadership :  Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Skills :  Proficient in project management tools and software (MS Project, JIRA, etc), with strong analytical skills for interpreting data and making informed decisions.
  • This role is hybrid, located in Richmond BC. Based on experience, the salary range will be $115,000 - $150,000 with a 15% bonus. Thank you for your interest in Natures Path!
