Horizon Recruitment Inc. is recruiting for a Financial Analyst to support the continued growth of a leading specialty food manufacturer with operations in Vancouver supporting markets overseas and around the world. With multiple production facilities and a new distribution site recently launched, the company is scaling rapidly. To enable this expansion, the Finance team is adding strength to improve reporting accuracy, streamline planning processes, and provide sharper insights to help guide strategic decisions.

Base pay range

CA$80,000.00 / yr - CA$95,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly financial results, capital spending, and key metrics against budget, forecast, and prior periods
• Prepare management reports and quarterly reporting packages with clear, actionable insights
• Build and update financial models for revenue, margins, capital investments, and operating budgets
• Work closely with department leads to gather planning inputs and analyze business drivers
• Monitor standard cost variances and partner with supply chain to develop cost projections
• Support business case development, including risk assessment and scenario analysis
• Recommend and implement improvements to financial planning processes and tools
