SMT Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Reporting to the Manager, Electronics Manufacturing Engineering, the SMT Manufacturing Engineering Intern will contribute to process improvements, library standardization, and equipment optimization within the SMT area. This role suits a detail‑oriented student seeking hands‑on experience with PCB assembly, AOI systems, and manufacturing workflows while collaborating with engineers and technicians to strengthen process stability, documentation, and overall SMT efficiency.

Data Skills / Qualifications / Education :

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical / Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Comfort with data analysis tools (Excel; Python or MATLAB an asset) and SPC concepts.

Responsibilities :

Steel-Toed Boots Requirement :

Candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots for this role to ensure safety compliance in the workplace. Applicants must have access to a pair of steel-toed boots prior to starting employment.
