Litigation Lawyer

Our prominent downtown Toronto client is looking for an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be able to significantly grow their existing book of business:

The following areas of experience are of particular interest:

Business, Corporate Commercial or Franchise Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Bankruptcy & Insolvency, Power of Sale / Foreclosure, Real Estate / Mortgage Lending and Estates Litigation

NOT Family Law, Criminal Law or Insurance Defense

Compensation is based on a graduated percentage of billings

Expected Compensation range: $200,000 to $350,000

This is a new position for the firm.

Requirements

4+ years' of post-call experience working in Litigation

Have a roster of clients to partially sustain, but capacity & eagerness to manage much more

Own book of at least $250K preferred

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
