Job descriptionProven experience as a formwork carpenter on concrete projects. Proficient with Doka, Peri, or Aluma systems and rebar installation. Ability to read plans and drawings accurately. Physically fit and able to work at heights or in demanding environments. Strong teamwork, reliability, and commitment to safety. Fall Protection ticket. WHMIS.
Matrix HR is seeking experienced Concrete Formwork Carpenters for commercial and infrastructure projects in Halifax. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Doka, Peri, or Aluma formwork systems, rebar installation, and concrete work.
Duties :
- Construct, erect, and dismantle formwork panels with precision.
- Install and tie rebar according to project specifications.
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing as needed.
- Ensure all work meets blueprints, structural plans, and safety standards.
