Kindergarten Class Teacher

The successful candidate

will have demonstrated strong classroom management skills, a deep grounding in the development of the young child, will have the ability to build professional relationships with parents, faculty, and staff, have a love for the outdoors and an understanding of the benefits of outdoor programming within the school day, and will enthusiastically join the collaborative work of our school. REQUIREMENTS 3 � 5 years minimum of previous class teaching in a Waldorf Kindergarten program Waldorf Teaching certificate or certification under the BC Teachers Regulation Branch A love for and willingness to work daily in a rural forest and farm setting, walking daily on uneven terrain Completion of, or enrollment in, an AWSNA / WECAN approved Waldorf Early Childhood EducatorTraining program Be able and willing to lift up to 75 lbs PREFERRED � Current first aid or must be willing to obtain SALARY $50,057 to $65,343 / year prorated to FTE based on experience and credentials Please send your resume, cover letter, current applicable certificates / licenses, and references to OWS Hiring Committee : [email protected] OWS offers competitive wages, benefits, and a nourishing work environment with a supportive and proactive communication policy.
