Production Operator - Picture Frame Assembly

Artistree-MississaugaThe Production Operator utilizes a variety of equipment and machines to produce high quality custom framing products for our customers while following safety rules, meeting productivity standards and achieving attendance requirements.

Major Activities

Machine Operation

• Operates Saw, Router, Joiner, and / or Mat Cutter according to procedures
• Cross-trains on all machines to be fully versatile in all aspects of machine operations
• Cuts, fits, assembles, packages, and ships frame / mat fillet orders
• Cross-trains and at times, work in Picking and Fillet
• Enters order information in computer system
• Cleans equipment as required to ensure safety and accuracy
• Performs required maintenance; replaces worn parts (blades, bits, etc.) as appropriate and required
